ココさん、20周年と5つの質問。

ここ東京で僕はたくさんの面白い人たちにあえてとてもラッキーだと思っています。
そのうちの一人が、10年ぐらい前に知り合ったココさんです。
月日の経つのは速くて、僕はもっとココさんに会いたいのですが、彼女はとても忙しい女性なのです。特に彼女のブランドの20周年に当たる今年は、普段に輪をかけて忙しそうです。
ココさんは、僕が東京で出会った人々のなかで一番オシャレなマダムであるだけでなく、Les Briqu`a braqueというリメイクのブランドや、「クチュール」版のMatriochkaも手がけています。
20周年記念ということで、これらのブランドショップの期間限定ショップが新宿のBEAMS Japanにオープンしています。
ここには、昔のアイテムや、Matriochkaの2017年コレクション、スペシャルTシャツのエディション、iPhoneケース、ココさんのイラストなど、ココさんの世界に触れることができます。

こんな服を誰か着てくれるかな？

2 - その頃のデザインと今のデザインはどう違いますか？
着てくれるひとがいるのはわかったけれど、未だに大丈夫かな？とドキドキします。

3 - ココさんのブランドの20年間を3つの言葉で表現してください。
可愛い だけじゃない。
明るい色。
時代を超えた形。

4 - あなたのファッションアイコンは誰ですか？

5 - インスピレーションを感じるのはどういう時ですか？
過去に観てきた映画、ファッションの変遷。それらにちょっと錯覚してみたり誤解してみたり。

KOKO san, 20th Anniversary and 5 questions.

I have been very lucky to meet lots of interesting people here in Tokyo.
And one of them is Koko san who I met around 10 years ago.
The time flies and I wish to see Koko san more often as I used to, but I know
she is a really busy lady these days especially with her brands 20th Anniversary celebrations in this year.
As it happens Koko san, beside being one of the most stylish Madam I met in Tokyo,
she is also a founder and designer of remake-cloths-brand Les Briqu`a braque and its “couture” version Matriochka.
On the occasion a pop up shop of the brands has just opened at BEAMS Japan Shinjuku.
It features Koko san`s world including some archive items, Matriochka ss`17 collection, special T-shirts edition, iPhone cases, Koko san`s illustrations and more.
